Cheese for the pizzas

I personally love mozzarella because it melts fast and perfect strings. I use processed cheese like Amul and I drizzle a small amount of olive oil to melt it properly.

Pizza toppings

I choose the toppings that doesn’t take much time to cook. Here are some of my favourite toppings:

·       Sliced onions

·       Mushrooms

·       Cooked chicken

·       Paneer

·       Sweet corn

These pizzas are fast and you also get the satisfaction of making homemade pizzas...!!

Let’s get started...!!

Ingredients

For the base

·       2 ½ cups all-purpose flour or maida

·       ½ teaspoon baking soda

·       1 teaspoon sugar

·       ¾ teaspoon salt

·       ½ cup yoghurt

·       ¼ cup water

·       1 tablespoon oil

For the pizza

·       ¼ cup pizza sauce (easily available in the market)

·       1 cup toppings (Sliced onions, Mushrooms, Paneer etc) Ive used sweet corn

·       1 cup grated mozzarella

·       2 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

For the dough

·       Take a large bowl and mix flour, baking soda, sugar and salt. Combine well

·       To the mixture add yoghurt and oil and knead the flour. Add water little by little and knead till you get a soft dough.

·       Cover the dough with a damp towel and set aside for 20-25 minutes.

 For the pizza

·       Divide the dough into two parts. This will make around two 8-inches pizzas.

·       Make a ball from the dough and dust it with dry flour and roll it out.

·       Place your non-stick pan on the stove on low flame. Place the rolled out pizza dough on the pan and prick it using a fork. Spread some pizza sauce on top, add toppings and grated cheese.

·       Drizzle olive oil round the edges and cook for 4-5 minutes. Check if the cheese has melted and the base is slightly crisp.

·       Sprinkle some pizza seasoning and chilli flakes on top and serve it quick.

·       Repeat the same with the remaining dough.

Note.

You can also create steam by sprinkling a little amount of water around the pizza and not on it and then cover and cook it. This will create steam required for cooking.
