This eggless chocolate mug cake is chocolatey, moist, and soft to satisfy chocolate cravings of yours. Serve it with icing sugar dusted on top or a scoop of ice cream for extra deliciousness.
I’ve tried a whole lot of mug cakes and I kinda hated them. I thought they were spongy and not the texture I want. Yesterday, I was craving some cakes like none other.

Eggless Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of all purpose flour or Maida
- 3 tbsp Powdered Sugar
- 2 tbsp of Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 tsp of baking Soda
- A pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 1 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Icing Sugar for dusting on top (optional)
Instructions
- In a microwave safe mug, mix together flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt till combined evenly.
- Add milk and vegetable oil and mix till there are no visible lumps.
- Microwave for 2 minutes. It takes approx 2 minutes in a 800 watt microwave, but will take lesser time in a 1200 watt microwave.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately.
- Or you can add ice-cream on top.
